What you need:

24 empty toilet rolls,

stapler,

red corrugated paper,

red, purple, and green transparent paper,

red aluminium foil (crafting foil),

glue, pencil,

scissors,

silver gel pen or gloss marker pen,

foil star shapes

Put the toilet rolls together in a double circle.

The inner circle consists of nine rolls, the outer circles of 15 rolls.

Staple the rolls together.

Turn the circle top down and staple the rolls together on the other side as well.

Put the circle onto the flat side of a sheet of corrugated paper.

Draw the outlines onto the paper

(along the outer and the inner circle and each roll from the inside).

Cut out the outlines.

Be careful: Each small circle of the rolls needs to have a rim.

If that is not the case, cut the circle a little smaller.
Stick transparent paper onto the holes from the flat side.

Cut the transparent paper into pieces that are a little larger than the holes.

Stick red aluminium foil onto the inner and outer circle sides.

If you do not want to use glue, you can also staple the foil to the sides.

Stick the corrugated paper with the transparent paper onto the circle.

Glue some stars onto the corrugated paper.

Write the numbers from one to 24 onto the transparent paper with a silver pen.
Cut out a piece of card stock that is large enough to cover the circle.

You can also cut it into the shape of the sun star.
Fill little presents or sweets into the rolls.

Then stick the card stock onto the back of circle.
Each day one roll is going to be opened by cutting into the transparent paper.
