What you need:
golden and white beads (about 4mm / 0.16in),
thin craft wire
Cut off a piece of wire that is about 90cm / 35in / 1yd long.
Slide two white beads onto the wire up to the middle.
Apply two more white beads onto one end of the wire and pull the other end through the beads from the other side (as described in the
basic
technique).
Apply two more white beads in the same way.
String five white beads onto each end of the wire.
String two golden beads onto each end of the wire.
On each side, pull the wire back through the last but one bead.
String eleven white beads onto one end of the wire.
Pull the other end of the wire through these beads the other way.
For the next row you need ten beads.
Then string two golden beads onto each end of the wire.
Pull the wire back through the last but one bead on both
sides.
Use nine white beads for the next row.
The pattern continues in the same way. For each row reduce the number of white beads by one. Apply two golden beads to the sides each second
row.
Either you use a single golden bead or a star-shaped bead for the top of the tree.
Use the rest of the wire for hanging.
Tip:
Of course you can also create trees in different colours.
