Sock puppet

What you need: 

worn-out socks, 

wool remnants, 

cardboard, 

eyes, 

needle, 

felt, 

glue, 

scissors

Cut a piece of cardboard into the shape of a long oval. 

This oval should fit into the foot of the sock. 

Fold two third of the cardboard over. 

Put the cardboard into the sock. 

Place the longer part to the toes and the shorter one to the heel.

Put your hand into the sock. 

You can move the mouth of the puppet if you press the cardboard together 

at the fold and let go again. 

You might want to stick the cardboard to the sock. 

Just apply some glue to the cardboard before inserting it into the sock. 

But try to insert the cardboard without glue first. 

When you have finished applying the mouth on the inside, 

glue a piece of felt into the mouth from the outside, 

and apply a tongue too.

Cut off some threads of wool and sew them to the head of the puppet.

Glue or sew eyes to the puppet.

Apply nostrils and a mouth as well.
