What you need:
Scoubidou strings in several colours
You can buy Scoubidou strings in any craft or toy shop
and even in department stores.
With these you can knot bracelets, keychains and other
objects.
Simple keychain:
Place two strands in your hand crosswise.
The green string is beneath the blue string.
Keep hold of the two strands with your thumb.
Now put the lower green strand up between the two upper ones (between blue and green string). You can clamp it between your fingers at the back of your hand.
Put the blue strand of the upper left to the right (over the two green ones).
Now put the green strand of the upper right down (over the two blue strings).
Finally, take the blue string from the lower right, put it over the green string on the right and pull it below the green string on the
left.
Carefully remove your thumb and pull the strings tight.
Keep knotting the strings in that way until the keychain is long enough.
Tie the key to the keychain by pulling all four strands through the hole of the key first, then tying the four strands together into a large knot.
Attention:
Be careful if your Scoubidou strings smell.
According to newspaper reports, there were also noxious strings sold, so do not put them into your mouth.
