What you need:
two transparent plastic sheets
(e.g. lantern sheets, crea-pop foil or laminating film),
wire netting,
fairy lights,
curling ribbon,
brush,
hole punch,
glue for napkin technique,
napkin with stripes
Open the napkin.
Separate the layers of the napkin.
You only need the uppermost layer on which the stripes are printed.
Cover the plastic sheet thinly with glue for napkin technique.
Place the napkin onto the sheet and carefully apply glue to it, too. Always brush from the middle to the edges so that the napkin does not
crease.
Let the glue dry.
You may want to cut a pattern into the edges of the sheet,
e.g. with decorative
scissors.
Tie the fairy lights to a piece of wire netting.
When the plastic sheets are dry, punch holes into the edges regularly both
on the left and on the right
side.
Place the wire netting with the fairy lights between the two sheets. Pull curling ribbon through the holes at the sides and through the wire netting as well. Thus, the lamp will get a rounded shape. That's
it!
