What you need: 

glass, 

mosaic glue that works on glass, 

mosaic tiles

  
Choose a glass you want to decorate. 

This can be an ordinary drinking glass or even a mustard jar. 

The glass should be large enough to put a tealight into it.

  
Mosaic glue might be quite liquid. Read the instructions on the packaging to see whether the glass has to dry in the oven later.
Decorate the glass. 

  
First apply some glue onto the glass, 

then put a mosaic tile onto the glue.

  
Now you can blow-dry the glue with a hair-dryer 

so that the glue starts working and gets dry.

  
Now you can apply more mosaic tiles.

  
Put a tealight into the glass.
