What you need: 

one bulbous clay pot (3.5" diameter), 

hot glue or wood glue, 

paint (several colours), 

brush, coloured pipe cleaners

Paint the clay pot and let it dry.

Cut off six equal pieces of the pipe cleaners,

 each about 4" to 6" long.
Glue one end of the pipe cleaners into the clay pot. 

Now there are six legs. Bend the legs.

Draw eyes onto the clay pot with a black pen. 

You can also stick wiggle eyes onto the clay pot.
