What you need:
one 2.5" diameter clay pot,
one 1" diameter clay pot,
one 2" diameter wooden ball,
white paint,
brush,
six small black or black and white pompons,
needle,
thread,
red bead,
nature raffia,
wooden spit,
black paint or felt pen,
red and green felt,
wood glue
Paint the large pot and the wooden ball white.
Let the paint
dry.
Draw a face onto the ball. Stick a small red bead to the ball as nose.
The hole of the ball should be at the top and at the
bottom.
Draw a vertical row of three black dots onto the large clay pot as buttons.
Glue the wooden ball on top of the clay pot.
Glue the small clay pot on top of the ball as hat. Let the glue
dry.
String and tie three small pompons onto each end of a long piece of thread.
Tie the pompons to the snowman as arms by tying the thread around the neck (between ball and
pot).
Cut a long stripe out of red felt. As this is going to be the scarf, the piece should be so long that you can put it around the neck of the snowman and still knot the ends
together.
Cut two pieces out of green felt that are as broad as the scarf. Cut into the pieces several times to create threads. Stick these pieces to the two ends of the
scarf.
Tie the scarf around the snowman.
Tie some threads of nature raffia together (you can also use straw).
Stick the raffia to one half of a wooden spit. This is the brush of the
snowman.
Stick the brush to the snowman.
