Window stopper

Deutsch

What you need:

paper tube from toilet roll,

wool,

glue,

scissors,

cotton wool

Stuff the tube tightly with cotton wool.

Make a small cut into one of the rims.

Clamp the begining of the wool into this cut.

Apply glue to the tube. Wrap the wool around the tube along the long side so that the openings (with the cotton wool) will be covered when you have finished wrapping.

Press the wool to the tube so that the glue can work.

When the tube is completely wrapped with wool, you can either leave it like that or decorate it further. You may want to add strings of wool in different colours.

You can also apply beads or other shapes.
Instead of wrapping the tube with wool, you can also cover it with cloth.

Tip: You can wedge the tube between window and sill to keep the window open.

You can use the tube as a door stopper, too, to keep it open or to stop it from opening too far.
