What you need:
paper tubes, e.g. from toilet roll,
coloured paper,
pens,
scissors,
glue,
stapler
You need one paper tube for each letter of the name.
Put the tubes next to each other and staple them together at both rims.
 
Glue coloured paper around the tubes.
Write the name onto the tubes using one tube for each letter.
That's it!
