Balloon heart

What you need:

Modelling balloons, 

Balloon pump

Inflating the balloon:

   
Before you begin to inflate your balloon, stretch the balloon several times.

   
Place the pump in position and inflate the balloon. 

Note: It is important that you leave some inches of the balloon uninflated because the pressurized air needs some space when you twist the balloon. 

If you inflate the balloon totally, it will burst when you twist it.

You will need some practice if you want to blow up the balloon with your own breath. You need to press in the air in gasps. 

Inflate nearly the whole balloon. 

Tie both ends of the balloon together.

 
Take the balloon into your hands at the opposite side of the knot. 

Bring the balloon into the form of a heart. Press the bend together tightly. 

The balloon will change its shape through the warmth of your hands.

  
Let go of the balloon and see whether it has taken the shape of a heart. 

If it hasn't yet, bend and press again.
