What you need:
wood plugs
(wood disks) in three sizes:
2 x
1" (2,5 cm),
1 x
1,5" (3,5 cm),
1 x
1/2" (1,5 cm),
glue,
black paint,
five toothpicks,
thread,
two bright beads
Glue the large plug edgewise on one of the smaller ones.
Glue the other small plug on top as head.
Glue the smallest plug on top of the head. This will form the hat.
Paint foot, body, and head
black.
Cut three toothpicks into six small and equally sized rungs.
Tie these rungs to the remaining two toothpicks so that you get a
ladder.
Draw a face onto your chimney sweeper with a felt pen or gloss paint.
Glue the two beads to the stomach as buttons.
Finally, stick the ladder to the side.
