What you need:
scissors,
paper
Fold the paper like a concertina.
Draw one half of a motif on the uppermost layer. The motif needs to be connected to the edges on both sides otherwise your silhouette will not become a chain but consist of single
pictures.
Cut out the motif along the outline.
Pull the ends of the chain apart.
