What you need:
two transparent plastic sheets
(e.g. lantern sheets, crea-pop foil or laminating film)
with holes along two sides,
wire netting,
fairy lights,
beige, orange, and yellow paint,
raffia band,
brush,
glue for napkin
decoupage,
napkin with sunflower motif
Ground the plastic sheets with paint.
Do not apply the colours too evenly. Let the paint
dry.
You can also cut a pattern into the edges of plastic sheets with the help of decorative
scissors.
Open the napkin and cut out the flower motifs.
Separate the layers of the napkin.
You only need the uppermost layer on which the motif is
printed.
Put the motif onto the plastic sheet. Use the side that is not painted. Carefully apply the glue for napkin technique with a brush. Always start brushing in the middle and move towards the edges so that the motif does not get creased. If you like, you can sprinkle some glitter into the glue before it is
dry.
Let the glue dry.
Tie the fairy lights to a piece of wire netting.
When the plastic sheets are dry, place the wire netting between them. Pull raffia band or curling ribbon through the holes at the sides and through the wire netting as well. Thus, the lamp will get a rounded
shape.
That's it!
