Lighthouse lamp

Deutsch

What you need:

two transparent plastic sheets

(e.g. lantern sheets, crea-pop foil or laminating film)

with holes along two sides,

wire netting,

fairy lights,

beige, yellow, and blue paint,

curling ribbon, brush,

glue for napkin technique,

napkin with lighthouse motif

Paint the plastic sheets.

Do not apply the colours too evenly.

Use beige and yellow paint for the lower part of the sheets

and blue for the upper part. Let the sheets dry.

Open the napkin and cut out the lighthouse motif.

Separate the layers of the napkin.

You only need the uppermost layer of the napkin on which the motif is printed.

Place the motif on the plastic sheet and carefully apply glue for napkin technique. Brush from the middle to the edges so that the napkin will crease less.
Let the glue dry.

Tie the fairy lights to a piece of wire netting.

When the plastic sheets are dry, put the wire netting between them.

Pull curling ribbon (or other band) through the holes of the plastic sheets and through the wire netting as well. Thus, the lamp will get a rounded shape.
When you have knotted both sides of the plastic sheets in that way, that's it!
