Wind chime

What you need:

clay pot,

napkin with small motifs,

glue for napkin technique,

brush,

optionally paint,

string,

three big bar chimes,

curtain ring

Paint the clay pot in the colour of your choice.

Let the paint dry. Cut the motifs out of the napkin and separate the layers of the napkin. You only need the uppermost layer on which the motif is printed.

Turn the clay pot up.

Place the motif on the clay pot and carefully apply glue for napkin technique.

This works best if you begin in the middle and brush towards the edges.

Thus, the napkin will crease less.

In that way, apply as many motifs onto the clay pot as you like.

Let everything dry.

Cut off pieces of string, e.g. embroidery thread,

and tie them to the bar chimes.

Tie the strings to the curtain ring.

There needs to be string left at the side that is not knotted to the bar chimes. Tie the three strings together so that you can use them for hanging.

You can tie a wooden ball or a miniature clay pot

into the middle of the bar chimes, too.

Pull the strings through the hole in the clay pot from below.

Hang the wind chime on the ceiling.
