What you need:
cardboard,
scissors,
glue,
crepe paper
Cut a long stripe out of cardboard oder card stock.
Put the stripe around your head (like a headband).
Glue the ends of the stripe together at the back of your head.
Now you have got a cardboard band in the size of your
head.
You need another stripe of cardboard.
Put this stripe over your head from the forehead to the back.
Glue the ends to the cardboard band.
This is the basic scaffold for the wig.
Glue stripes of crepe paper to the scaffold.
Begin at the band and apply stripes in the length you want the "hairs" to have.
For the upper part of the head, take a large sheet of crepe paper.
Glue the middle of this sheet to the scaffold.
Cut the sheet into stripes.
Tip: If you want to make a wig that looks like the bald head of a clown, you only have to make the cardboard band. Glue stripes of crepe paper to the cardboard band. Wear the band over a swimming cap in the colour of your
skin.
