Plaster magnets

What you need: 

plaster, 

water, 

paint, 

brush, 

clear varnish,

magnets, 

glue or double-faced adhesive tape, 

empty plastic packing (chocolates, advent calendar, etc.) or moulds

To cast something from plaster is really easy. 

Mix plaster with water according to the instructions on the packaging. 

Then fill the plaster into the moulds.

Knocking slightly at the side of the mould will keep the plaster free of air bubbles.
Let the plaster dry. Remove the shape from the mould and paint it. 

Finally, apply a layer of clear varnish.

You can buy various kinds of moulds in crafts shops. Nevertheless, 

if you want to create small shapes, 

you can also use the plastic inlays of Advent calendars. 

Often there are also other motifs than Christmas motifs in them, 

which you can use the whole year.

Stick the magnets to the back of the plaster shapes with glue or double-faced adhesive tape.
