What you need:

fuse beads (full-coloured and translucent),

large rectangular pegboard,

greaseproof paper or baking parchment,

dry iron,

pair of tweezers,

wire,

fairy lights,

glass

There are different kinds of fuse beads.

For the lamps you use both full-coloured and translucent ones.

Light will shine through the translucent beads later.
Fill the pegboard completely with beads.

You can follow a certain pattern or apply the beads at random.

When you have finished applying the beads, preheat the dry iron.
Put a piece of greaseproof paper on the beads and iron them until they fuse.
Let the beads cool down some time and remove them from the pegboard. Iron the back as well.

Make four more of these plates.
Let all plates cool down. Cut off a long piece of crafting wire.

Optionally you can also use strong thread (and a needle).
Put the plates together at a right angle and connect the edges with wire…

… by threading the wire through the outer rows of beads.

Four plates make up the sides of the lamp,…

… the fifth is applied to the top.

Bind the fairy lights together and…

… put them into a glass.

Put the cube over the glass.

IMPORTANT!!! Only use cold light for all kinds of fuse bead lamps.

Lights that become hot will let fuse beads melt.

So be careful with any kind off light that produces heat!!!

Tip: For putting the flex away elegantly omit four beads at one corner of the pegboard when making one plate.

You will get a small hole through which you can pull the flex.
