Plastic cups as moulds for candles |
plastic cups, wax, wick, tin can
Either you cut the wick out of the candle before you melt the wax or you melt the wax and fish the wick out of the wax. Put the wick onto a piece of baking parchment until it is dry. Put the tin can into the pot to melt the wax.
You can also tie the wick to a toothpick and put this onto the rim of the glass. Pour the wax into the glass. Mind the correct burning direction of the wick. Pour the first colour into the cup and wait until it has started to dry. Then pour a different colour on top.
Now you can remove the candles from the plastic cups. If this cannot be done easily, you can also cut the cups up.
