What you need:
beads
(about 4mm / 0.16in and 6mm / 0.24in),
thin craft wire
Cut off a piece of craft wire that is 90cm / 35in / 1yd long.
String a bead onto the wire.
Then string a larger bead onto both ends of the wire at once.
String two beads onto each end of the wire.
String a large bead onto one end of the wire. Then pull the other end through the bead as well from the other
side.
String a large bead onto one end of the wire first, then add two small ones.
Then pull the wire through the larger bead again.
And again: String a large bead and two small ones.
Then pull the wire through the large bead again.
Repeat it a third time.
Now repeat it with the other end of the wire.
String one small bead, then four large ones,
and then another small bead onto one end of the
wire.
Pull the other end of the wire through the beads from the other side.
String three small beads, a large one, and then again three small beads onto one end of the wire. Then pull the other end of the wire through the beads from the other side
again.
String a small bead onto each end of the wire.
Then add seven small beads to one end of the wire.
Pull the other end of the wire through the last seven beads from the other side.
Apply one small bead onto each end of the wire again.
Then string four large beads onto one end of the wire.
Pull the other end through the last four beads again from the other side.
Apply a small bead to each end of the wire again.
Then string two small beads, a large one, and two small ones onto one end.
Pull the other end of the wire through the beads as
before.
String a small bead and a large bead onto each end of the wire.
String a large bead onto both ends at once.
Finally, string three small beads onto both ends of the wire at once.
Pull one end through the upper bead again so that the beads are fixed.
Tip:
Of course you can also use beads in other colours.
