What you need:
chestnuts,
matches,
glue
You need three chestnuts for the sitting figure.
Two of them should have a flat side.
Put the first chestnut with its flat side onto the table.
Put two matches into the front of the chestnut as
legs.
Stick another chestnut on top of the first one or fix it with a match.
Put two more matches into the sides as arms.
Fix another chestnut with a match on top. This is the head.
That's it!
Tip: If you cannot put the matches into the chestnuts, make a small hole with a pricker first.
