Beechnut picture

What you need: 

bark, 

beech-nut kernels, 

glue

Collect beech-nut kernels.

Stick the kernels onto a piece of bark.

You can arrange the kernels into special shapes,

 e.g. star or flower, or glue them onto the bark separately.
