What you need:
warped beginner's weaving loom,
wool
Warp the
loom. Then wind some wool onto the
shuttle.
Often the shuttle is a long piece of wood with gaps at top and bottom where you can wind wool
onto.
Let some wool hang out at the side of the loom.
Then turn the middle part so that there is an opening (shed). Pass the shuttle through this shed so that the thread remains between the warp
threads.
Then turn the middle part back. Again there is a shed.
Pass the shuttle back through the shed. This procedure is repeated all the time. Be careful not to pull the thread too tight around the outer warp threads. Otherwise your woven item will narrow in the
middle.
Use the comb for pressing the threads together tightly.
Try to use it after each woven
row.
Keep going until your woven item is long enough.
Tip:
If you use thicker wool, you can see your first weaving results fast.
