What you need:
sheet of construction paper (A3),
crepe
paper,
transparent paper
(e.g. coloured cellophane or parchment / greaseproof / wax paper),
scissors,
pencil,
sticky tape,
glue stick,
curling ribbon,
stapler,
electric lantern stick
Draw one quarter of a circle onto construction paper.
Cut the quarter out.
Draw small motifs onto the quarter,
e.g. stars, hearts, or other.
Cut the motifs out.
Glue transparent paper onto the quarter.
Roll the cardstock into the shape of a cone and glue the edges together.
Put crepe paper around the rim of the cone and staple it to the rim.
Pull the crepe paper up.
Insert a light bulb on a lantern stick into the cone.
Then glue the crepe paper together with curling
ribbon.
