Ingredients:
flat
sponge cake,
marzipan paste,
icing sugar,
sugar letters,
chocolate decoration,
etc.
Put two sponge flan cases on top of each other.
If the flan cases are quite thick, cut them into two or three slices.
Cut out hearts with a biscuit cutter. The two flan cases remain on top of each
other.
Knead two parts of marzipan paste with one part icing sugar, (e.g. 50 grams / 2 oz marzipan paste, 25 grams / 1 oz icing sugar).
Roll out marzipan and cut out hearts with the biscuit cutter, too.
Separate the layers of the sponge hearts and put a marzipan heart in between.
You can fix the marzipan hearts to the sponge hearts using some icing.
Mix icing sugar with water (and optionally food colouring). Cover the muffins with the icing. Let the icing
dry.
Decorate the muffins with sugar letters or chocolate decoration.
