What you need:
card stock or coloured paper,
scissors,
glue,
sticky tape
Cut the paper into stripes or use paper stripes that you can buy.
Put three stripes next to each other.
Weave three stripes of another colour into these stripes.
Apply a bit of glue so that the stripes remain in this position.
This is the bottom of the basket.
Fold each stripe up.
For the sides, take another stripe in a different
colour and weave it into the stripes that show
upward.
Apply a bit of glue, too.
Repeat this procedure with a second stripe.
Now take two stripes from the middle and glue their ends together so that they form the handle.
Cut off the other stripes at the edge.
