What you need:
two sheets of square paper,
scissors,
glue
Fold the paper in half.
 
Unfold the paper and fold the bottom edge to the centre line.
Unfold the paper again. Fold the bottom edge to the first fold.
Turn the paper around 90°. Repeat the steps.
All four sides need to be folded in that way.
On two opposite sides, cut along the second folds of each side
up to the second fold
crossing.
Fold the uncut edges up and the ends 90° around so that you get a rim.
 
Fold the other sides of the paper over the rim.
You can fix the paper with a little
glue.
Now you need a thin stripe of paper. First fold the long edges to the centre.
Then fold the stripe in half along the long side.
Glue the stripe together on the inside.
This is the handle of the basket.
Glue the handle into the
basket.
