Flowerpot lantern

What you need: 

one large flowerpot made of thin plastic, 

pricker or thick needle, 

string or wire

Prick many holes into the outside of the flowerpot 

with the help of the needle or a pricker.

Make two small holes into the flowerpot beneath the rim on opposite sides. 

Pull a piece of string or wire through the holes for hanging.

Apply a lantern stick to the flowerpot or stick a tealight 

(and, of course, a holder) into the flowerpot.

If you think that too much light shines through the opening at the top, 

you can also glue two flowerpots together.
Tip: Paint the flowerpot in the colour of your choice.
