What you need:
beech-nuts,
small pom poms,
wiggle eyes,
glue,
string,
wooden sticks,
small bar beads
Choose a beech-nut that is widely opened.
Glue a small pom pom into the
beech-nut.
 
When the glue is dry, stick the eyes to the pom pom.
Glue a bar bead beneath the eyes as mouth.
Create some more of these faces. Tie each face to a piece of string.
Tie two wooden sticks or twigs together in the middle like a cross.
Tie all the faces to the cross.
